Amateur travel views in stereographic format, chiefly taken in California and other western states. Among California locations
are San Francisco and other Bay Area cities, Yosemite National Park and other Sierra Nevada locations, Shasta Dam, Redwood
Highway, Golden Gate Park, Mount Shasta, Monterey, Coloma, and various missions including San Juan Capistrano, Pala, San Diego
and San Luis Rey. Other locations include Grand Canyon, Boulder Dam, Petrified Forest, Yuma, Oak Creek Canyon, Virginia City,
Salt Lake City, El Paso, Fort Riley (Kansas), Lookout Mountain (Tennessee), Pike's Peak (Tennessee) and many others.

Joseph R. (Joseph Reinhardt, later Joseph Richard) Renner; born 1877 in Vineland, Kansas to Katherine Marie Landwerlen and
Aloysius Renner. Graduated from Kansas City Law School in 1911. While in Kansas worked for Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad;
AT&T; Faultless Washing Machine Co.; and Apex Electric Co. Moved to California in 1937. Worked at Rheim Co. in Richmond and
also as a photographer for Ford Times Magazine and Life Magazine. Eventually settled in Berkeley at 1116 The Alameda. Died
in Napa State Hospital in 1958. Wife Mildred Renner (married in 1913), daughter Rosemary, grandson Peter Thomas. (Biographical
